HPBAC has created national and regional industry profiles to provide a quick summary of the scale of the industry in Canada. These profiles are designed to be a tool when talking to government officials or stakeholders. We encourage you to have a copy on hand when talking with your local MPP or MLA, if you attend a council meeting, or if an issue crops up in your area.
HPBAC has established several helpful documents when advocating for a wood stove changeout. Our Good, Better, Best outline clarifies what is required to run a successful changeout program – including rebate amount, education, and suggested disposal of units. Our infographics summarize why changeout programs are an excellent program for addressing climate change and air quality concerns in many parts of Canada, especially rural or low income areas.
